Two Types of Services
PowerTransitions provides two main types of programs for candidates: Workshop Programs, which emphasize group training sessions with some individual follow-up, and Individual Programs, which concentrate on one-on-one interaction with our Campaign Managers and Consultants.
The goal of all of our programs is to shorten your job search. To this end, we engage the PowerTransitions' ABC approach:
A. Attitude:
We work with each candidate to help him/her approach the job search in the right frame of mind to make the most of each opportunity.
B. Basics:
We make sure each candidate has a strong resume, knows how to respond to a job posting, understands how to work with recruiters, and can use the Web effectively for their job search.
C. Communications:
We coach our candidates to improve their networking, & Connections: interviewing, and negotiating skills. We provide job leads and contact lists specific to their objectives.
The Two-Day or Three-Day Workshop Programs provide state-of-the-art information on self-assessment, self-marketing, resume development, conducting the job search, interviewing, and negotiating compensation. We take a pragmatic, real-world approach to what can be an alienating process for many job seekers.
Workshops are offered at your former employer's location or in one of our Northern California offices.
A full range of Individual Programs are offered, depending on the strategic needs and preferences of our corporate clients. Please contact your PowerTransitions Campaign Manager to discuss the specific services being provided by your employer as part of your outplacement program.
