As a founder of Transitions Management Group in 1982, Sharon has played a
leadership role in the development of the career management field in the United
States. She is responsible for developing and managing PowerTransitions'
corporate and national accounts.
Sharon leads PowerTransitions' executive coaching services and collaborates with
PowerTransitions consultants on other program delivery. She was previously a
tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at Adelphi University in New York,
and has conducted several major research projects in the career field.
Sharon regularly appears on the TV series "Job Net" aired weekly on Bay Channel
35. She served as President of the Board of Governors of the City Club of San
Francisco and was Health Commissioner for the City of San Francisco. Sharon
currently serves on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco YMCA, the
National Association of Women Business Owners, and the Employers Group of
California.
She holds a BA and MA from Stanford University, an MA from UCLA, and a PhD in
Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University.
